Dragonball 2CL: 2 Centuries Later - Written by T. Stewart (phelan_d@sbcglobal.net) Chapter 4 Kile- I turned in my bed and gazed at my alarm clock, which said five thirty in morning. I couldn't stay in my bed any longer and even though my alarm wouldn't buzz until six thirty, I was ready to get up and going. It had been nearly a week since I had arrived at my house, and it was almost back to normal. I had about six weeks before I had to return to school, I'd done over two years work to make sure I wasn't behind when I went to go train. Even when I got back I'd still be a bit ahead of everybody else. My lips curled into a content grin as I pondered that for a sec. I pulled my covers off my body and stepped out of my bed. The bed was comfortable, the room was warm, and the carpet was even being heated by an underground generator. I almost wished I was back at Hunong's simple house and that bed which was practically a wooden board. I scratched the sleep from my eyes blinking it away after. I walked up to my bedroom door and reached for the knob. I winced as my hand hit the door with a thud, I looked and remembered the doors were voice activated. " Open," I said rubbing my hand as I did so. The floor was warm under my feet as I walked down the narrow hall. After about twenty steps the narrow hallway opened up into a vast room. Enormous windows opened the room up to the rising sun and great curtains hung from the giant windows. To my right was the oversized staircase, which led to the Capsule Corp.'s main working area. This room served more as a lobby than any sort of a room that belonged in a house. I walked past the staircase and into another hallway on the opposite side. This hallway was mush bigger and it to had a smaller staircase at the left. I walked up the staircase which headed into my favorite place in the house. The kitchen. This was the part of Hunong's house that I didn't miss. In my opinion the guy never had enough damn food. I nearly ran to the fridge, the grocers had delivered more food last night and I was craving some Pop-cicles. I stepped on the tile floor which to was being warmed, I love the rich! life, and being with Hunong for the last two years makes you appreciate stuff. " Open," I said to the fridge. The fridge's doors slid open and plumes of frosty mist billowed out of it's doors. My eyes glazed over in ecstasy, such an incredible selection. I might as well had been living in a restaurant. I searched through all the freezer foods, racks, and other assorted things until I found the object of my desires. The box said rainbow-pops and on it it showed five different colored pop-cicles. I grabbed the box and tore it open with my bare hands, having super-human strength comes in handy sometimes. I grabbed handful after handful of pop-cicles filling my arms with a colorful array of icy sticks. I used my foot to place the box precariously into the fridge and ordered it to close. I walked jovially out of the kitchen and down the staircase, heading down the hall with my arms full of pop-cicles. I was about to pass the grand stair case when I dropped every last pop-cicle on the ground. A great energy was heading for my house. No, five energies were coming to my house. They somehow felt weirdly familiar. I knew that I'd sensed them before, or something like them. Shatzo they had to be, they had nearly the same energy as that girl. Five Shatzo I'd have to deal with, what the Hell did they want with me. I ran to the front door of my house, which was more like the door of a castle. " Capsule Corp. main entrance open, code 9443." I said. The door slowly slid open revealing to glass doors which I stepped forward to. The glass doors slid open and I ran into the main Courtyard of Capsule corp. The energies were close, I looked in the direction in which I sensed them and saw a group of black dots. They quickly grew in size until I could make of five darkly clad fighters with masks. I stood in the courtyard, my knuckles white as my fists gripped themselves tightly. The group was right above me when they descended, falling toward the earth at breakneck speeds. As far I could tell they were all a bit weaker than me, if they were hiding their power then I was really in trouble. Just as they were about to collide with the earth their fall stopped then slowly hovered down until their feet daintily made contact with the ground. I could easily tell this was a group of men they were all extremely well built muscles bulging out all over the place. " You are Kile Briefs," it was more a statement than a question from the one in the middle of the group. " Yes," I replied simply, I didn't want to say more than I had to. The one in the middle, the leader stepped forward, " make it easier on yourself and come with us willingly. We are not like the weakling warrior that you met with before." I tried to hide my power as much as I could, pushing it down farther and farther. " You're gonna have to beat the crap outta me if you want me to go anywhere with you!" I replied bringing my arms into my usual fighting stance. The leader looked to his left and nodded his head. One of the Shatzo leaped at me and before I could manage a defense landed his fist in my face with a flying punch, which sent me rushing back through the glass doors. Shards of razor sharp glass flew in all directions as I crashed back into Capsule Corp. I could sense the Shatzo coming for me again. I jumped off the ground and straight at the Shatzo, fist first. I returned the flying punch and sent the Shatzo flying straight back at his group bouncing and rolling on the ground as he did. The goup quickly stepped to either side as their comrade rolled and slid past them kicking up dust from the ground as he went by them. I walked back out into the courtyard and the group came back together minus one person. " you're more impressive than I first suspected," the 'leader' said. The leader nodded his head once more and two more of the darkly clad warriors flew at me. I smiled, looked like these guys couldn't hide or control their power levels. I once again took my fighting stance and waited for them to attack. Suddenly one of them zanzokened out of site, but I could still feel his energy creeping up behind me. I charged at the one in front fist first. My fist landed with power straight into a blocking arm. With the same hand I grabbed the arm and whirled him behind. I released him sending him crashing into his teammate. The two bodies flew into capsule corp. crashing through what was left of entrance glass. I flew through the busted door and into the C.C. lobby. I could sense them hiding somewhere, but I couldn't get a grip on it. A shatzo busted through the main staircase sending wood and metal flying in all directions. A white aura surrounded his body flaring all around him in a bright fire. I raised my power a bit to compensate for his strength and just as I did so he swung the first punch. I tilted my head and the jab flew by my neck. I moved to my right as his leg came up faster than a bullet, ready to punt my head off my shoulders. Within second he was throwing a flurry of punches, kicks, elbows, knees, and any other weapon he had on his body at me. His would have been an incomprehensible blur to any normal person, but were crystal clear to me, seemingly moving in slow motion. I could feel his ki rising a bit as frustration grew larger and larger with each punch he threw. Suddenly I felt a surge of energy coming quick from behind. As the fighter threw another ill fated punch I grabbed his arm and pulled him forward with all my might. I could feel his body convulse violently as his stomach mad contact with my awaiting knee. I let him go and before he had a chance to fall I upper-cutted him through the huge glass windows. The glass was still raining downward as the other fighter swung a hook for my head, I ducked and then whirled around. My leg smashed into his head as I twisted around. He flew in the other direction and with the force of a freight train blasted through Capsule Corps. Wall. I flew after him with all my speed and a white aura suddenly engulfed me as I chased him. I flew through the newly made hole spinning and twirling around. He was still flying and was now heading toward a group of houses. I blasted forwards speeding toward his flying body. His eyes were half open and as I passed him I looked into his them and smiled. They sh! ot open like saucers and I moved in front of him. Just as he was about to crash into a bunch of houses I turned around and blasted him upwards with my leg sending him careening into the air. With great speed I flew back to the Capsule Corp. courtyard where I found the other two Shatzo still waiting. I landed a few feet away from them and smiled. " That was all very fun, but I think you'd better leave before any more of you get hurt," I crossed my arms still smirking at the pair. The Shatzo next to the leader looked around and I could sense his uneasiness growing. I looked up in the air anticipating an arrival. Suddenly the Shatzo I had kicked crashed into the earth creating a crater between me and the pair of Shatzo. A giant cloud of dust billowed upward into the sky covering everyone in a thin coat of dirt. I sensed the cratered Shatzo's energy, a fall like that would have killed anyone, and even though he was weaker than me, he was still a badass. " Like I said you'd better leave before any more of you get hurt," the second Shatzo didn't hesitate and he bolted into the sky a whitish aura surrounding his body. "The leader's" eye's were still fixed on me as he raised his hand into the air. " In the Shatzo clan, like bravery, cowardice also receives an award," Suddenly I could feel the Shatzo's power level blast upwards, this one could control his ki at will. A whitish energy flowed around his hand and. " No wait don't," I screamed. The energy flared in a brilliant light forcing me to cover my eyes or else be blinded. When I looked back the energy had left his hand and was heading straight for the Shatzo. " Watch out," I shouted up at the doomed Shatzo. He turned around and I could sense his utter terror. He raised his arms above his head and began to charge his own ruby colored energy. I sensed his power and the power of the leader, he didn't have a chance. " YYYAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!" the Shatzo shot his beam at the leader's blast hoping to destroy it on contact. Without warning the leader's white flare shot out in multiple directions avoiding the fighter's beam. I watched the beam and looked at it destination, the dead center of a housing development. I had to stop it. I surrounded myself with my white energy then shot at the beam full speed. The beam was flying fast and I didn't have much time, in the back of my mind I could sense at least a dozen independent fireballs heading for the Shatzo. As I flew I began to charge my Siriah beam shouting out to words that would bring it to life. " SIIIIIIIIII," I began to concentrate my energy pushing it into my hands, " RIIIIIIIIII!!!" the purple energy ball burst to life in my palms, the beam was less than a second from crashing into the houses. I powered up even greater and sped forward with new speed. I was nearly underneath the beam when I finished the incantation, " AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!" the beam exploded from my hands blaring in an incredibly piercing noise, if anyone in the city was asleep so far they were awake now. The lavender colored blast streamed out of my hands and straight into the Shatzo ill-fated energy. Like a knife through hot butter the Siriah sliced through the enemy blast dispersing it in all directions. The purple beam sailed into the sky getting smaller and smaller until it was little more than a prick of light, then vanished. I let out a sigh of relief until I remembered the other Shatzo. I turned around to see the doomed warrior whizzing around the sky a white flare burning all around him. He was dodging left and right, up and down, back and forth as the twelve white powers struck at him and missed. But I could feel his power and I knew that he wouldn't be able to hold out. I looked down at the leader to see him watching as the white lights of death at! tacked their prey. I could still sense the fighter's fear in the back of my mind and even if he was an enemy, it was still too much to bear. My hands clinched leaving my knuckles deathly white. All the muscles in my body tensed violently shaking with new strain and effort. A white glow sparked once, twice then in a radiant light exploded in a surprisingly bright fire around my body. I could still see the warrior zipping around each attack getting closer and closer nearly hitting their target, which was with every move getting slower becoming easier prey. " AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!" I screamed as I pushed my power up higher and rocketed upward leaving a cloud of dust in my wake. I sped towards the warrior with all of my might when suddenly one of the balls hit their target. The white energy imbedded itself deeply into the warriors stomach then, with a lurch that would send the bravest man calling for mommy, exploded out of the other side of the fighter. Suddenly all the balls were following suit slicing in and out of the now hole laden fighter. I stopped in my tracks, my white power flaring in all directions as it faded away. I looked down at the leader once again and back to the now dead fighter. He hung in the air the impact of the slicing balls keeping the corpse airborne. " MY GOD, STOP THIS HE'S DEAD!!!" I screamed at the merciless killer. Suddenly the white lights froze in place and the Swiss cheese looking Shatzo finally made his last descent to earth. Slwoy the white lights faded away leaving an empty sky. The Shatzo looked up at me slowly turning his head and narrowed his eyes. I returned the glare with all the animosity I could bring out, this guy was going down. Suddemly he blurred out of sight. I sighed and looked up seeing him about twenty feet in front of me, his arms crossed. " My name is Siro," he raised chest as he said his next words, " I am son of the grand-master of the Shatzo clan." I crossed my arms and puffed my chest out as far as I could go, " if that meant something to me, maybe I'd be a little anxious," I brought my arms to my side in a laid back fighting stance, " but since I could care less about who your daddy is let's go." Siro smiled, which annoyed me to no end, " I think you'd better consider my offer and come with me without any violence," he took a fighting position of his own and I could feel his power rise, " I'm supposed to bring you back alive, but you now how it is when you get started and you can't stop." I returned his smile with my own curling my lips into my cheeks, " I have no problem shutting you up, but not here. We should go somewhere where we can fight without interruption." I came out of my fighting stance and began thinking of locations in which we could fight. Siro's eyes narrowed and his face contorted into a striking look of fury, " we'll fight right here and now I have no time for your sympathetic weaknesses." Oh great, now I'll have to worry about the safety of everyone in the city and not having to get the crap beat out of me, at the same time. This was fair. Siro blurred and I closed my eyes trying to feel out his power, all around me in one place then another, his presence seemed to be all around me " What the Hel..." I quickly sidestepped barely avoiding Siro's uppercut. I spun around bringing my leg up as I did so and kicked nothing but air as Siro's after image faded in the wind. I kicked at the ground and flew backwards skidding the gravel as I sped. Kicking my feet back into the ground I stopped and closed my eyes tightly. I calmed my world relaxing every muscle in my body quieting my mind until I could hear or feel nothing but life. There was one life that greatly stuck out among the rest high above me swirling through the air like a hawk ready to finish off it's prey. My eyes widened and I rocketed into the air letting my sense be my guide. I flew left then right and left again, I was now in the clouds and my eyes were doing me barely any good. I could feel him I knew exactly where he was and I made my move. I shot up even higher and swung at his face. He leaned back and brought his leg up to kick me. Grabbing his leg I pulled him into me and bashed my elbow into his face. Siro floated backwards losing a bit of altitude as he held onto his throbbing nose. I took this second opportunity and lashed out punching him twice in the gut then kicking him in the chest. He flew back-wards disappearing into the clouds and I once again turned to my supernatural ability. It was all to late though, suddenly I felt his fist lodge itself between my shoulders and I nearly cried out in pain. I spun around and backhanded him across the face. He kneed me in the ribs then grabbed my head and kneed it as well. I could barely stay afloat after that blast and another was on it's way. A fist landed in my jaw and I blacked out... My eyes opened and I could see the ground rushing at me I tried to stop but it felt as if I'd had the life sucked out of me, nothing happened and I smashed face first into the hard asphalt of the city streets. I lay there a while, in my newly created crater, slowly trying to regain some energy. Painfully I pushed myself off the ground and to my horror looked up to see and great red beam coming down upon me. I'd just managed to raise a small ki barrier around my body when the beam struck. The explosion blared on and on until it was nothing more than a ringing in my ears consuming my entire world. I shut my eyes tight as the searing heat engulfed my entire body. I could feel to rumble of the explosion down to my very bones and it felt as if the vibrations were going to tear them apart. Suddenly, finally it stopped. I could have died right there and then and have been thankful. Pain, just excrutiating, teeth grinding pain, I slowly opened my eyes and a crater three times the size of the one I had created filled the streets and branched out into the nearby buildings. Cars were flipped on their tops, street lights were bent and charred steam rose from the entire area creating a hazy cloud just above the destruction zone. I heard an ominous rumble and looked to my side to see a four story building slowly tilting my way. I tried to move, I screamed to move, but my legs wouldn't listen and the building slowly fell in on itself and an avalanche of steel and iron swept over my body striking and smashing into me and it burring me beneath thousands of pounds of building. I lain under there thinking, " I'm getting the crap beat out of me, I gotta do something." As more an more of my energy seeped away the burden above me crushed me further and further. " YYYYYYHHAAAAAAAHHH!!!" I powered up as violently and as quickly as I could and exploded from underneath the rubble, sending thousands of pounds of deadly fragments into the air. The pieces crashed into nearby building creating gaping holes with long metal bars hanging out of them. My mind felt numb, just blurry and I doubled over putting my hands on my knees. I knew I was forgetting something really important. My jaw felt like it split in two as Siro landed another blow to my face sending my high into the air. I finally reached the apex of my ascent and began to come down. The hard concrete surface of a building roof didn't give at all as I landed on top of a nearby building. That was enough of this. I jumped up and off the building locking on Siro and flew to him ignoring the pain in my body. I shot at him hundreds of miles an hour and launched a flurry of punches. At first he able to block most of them, but his arms gave way and very soon I was landing every punch I threw. My arms were on fire and my body throbbed as it's injuries began to reveal themselves more and more. I landed a last punch crossing his face then grabbed him by the neck lifted him off the ground and pitched him into light post. The light post gave, but not much and Siro's back curved inhumanly as it hit the hard metal post. He slid down the now bent post onto the ground. He hit, bouncing his head on the hard concrete. I stood watching resting for a second, probably letting him do the same. With his hand he slowly pushed himself up onto one knee. " If you think you're getting away with that disrespect..." he crouched onto both legs and the slowly stood up fists clenched and arms to his sides, " you're sorely mistaken dirt blood." Dirt blood? That raised my eyebrow. " What, what are you talking about," I took another step forward, " what do you mean dirt blood." Siro smiled then blurred away. A spun around leaning away from his diving punch I zanzokened above him and kicked the back of his neck. He jumped forward and whirled around, before he could turn I blurred once more. This time I was right in his face, his eyes widened with in shock, then his face cringed in pain as the back of my hand ripped across his face. I shot my hand around his neck tightening my grip with savage ferocity. " What the hell do you mean dirtblood!" Suddenly my head whipped around as his fist caught me in the jaw. I punched at him landing the blow in his stomach, then kicked his legs from underneath him sending him falling. Before he landed I kicked him in the stomach sending him spinning high into the air. Suddenly he stopped spinning and steadied himself in mid-air. " How sad is it that nearly everyone around you knows who and what you are except yourself," Siro was barely holding in a laugh as he said these words. He leaped up at him letting my energy pull me off the ground. Elbow first I charged at him He spun to my right and roundhouse kicked me in the back of my head. I watched as a red car charged up at me. I crashed into the car crumpling it's top into a ragged metal tin foil like mess. The car alarm went on loudly blaring as I lay face first in a pretty nice car. I felt Siro grab my leg and pulled me from the loud wreckage. My vision was hazy as I looked at the cloudy upside-down image of my greatest opponent yet. I looked "up" at the ground and watched as a pool of blood formed drips plodding onto the ground. How great was this. " They said you were supposed to be this incredible fighter," Siro dropped me face first in my own pool of blood. " This great legendary thing," He picked me up by the collar of my torn and ragged shirt, "You are nothing to me." As I blinked my vision back to normal I could see him smiling. " I can't believe I even wasted my time coming here," suddenly I felt him lurch and before I knew it I was flying through the air toward a high rise building. I barely managed to put my arms in front of my face as I crashed through concrete and glass spraying both everywhere. As I looked at my new location it looked a lot like my dad's work, a whole bunch of computers and cubicles. It really is crazy the things you think of when you're on the verge of death. I thought about that, no, I wasn't ready to die, not like this. I sat up and pulled myself up on the side of a cubicle. I wasn't going to give up and die. My hand shook wildly as I balled it up into a fist. The cubicles began to vibrate, office papers suddenly launched into the air spreading through the office like a great white cloud. I heard pops and bangs, then full fledged explosions as computers and all sorts of electronic equipment exploded all around me. The cubicles shot into the air blowing holes into the floor above. Fires from the exploded computers touched the top of the ceiling and suddenly water shot raining down onto the ground. Siro stepped into the building and his eyes shot open at the sight. Steam rose where the fires had previously been the water from the ceiling doing it's job. There I stood in the middle of it all shaking and growling as power flooded my body and senses. " I'M NOT GOING TO DIE. I'M NOT GIVING UP," as I screamed these words my power exploded all around me enveloping my body in a white fire. Everything in the building was blasted away from me crashing through windows and walls. Computers, scanners, chairs, desks every sort of office appliance flew all around me breaking apart on the walls spreading across the whole of the floor. " YYYAAAAAHHHHHH," my energy exploded once more and the floor below and the ceiling above blew apart leaving me levitating in the middle of both. Siro fell down at first, then rose up covering himself from everything that was flying around him. Blasting my energy once more I charged at him and landed an elbow in his chest. He flew out of the building pieces of glass and the wall following him on the way out. He crashed into a tree sending branches, pieces of bark, and flying leaves in all directions and marking our entrance into the city park. I followed him and before he hit the ground punched him in the face. He rolled and bounced on the ground kicking up the wet dew filled grass. I landed on the ground and sped toward the warrior. He was starting to get up when I kneed him in his stomach. Saliva flew out of his mouth and he doubled over on my knee. With the same leg I kicked him up into the air and jumped after him I landed a very long series of punches bloodying up his face a bit before I grabbed him by his collar. " I don't know about legendary, but I'm well worth you time bitch," I pitched him over the park and into a large building. The new mall which was still under construction. He crashed through the glass ceiling and into the building. I quickly followed him inside.
