The official Dragonball GT website has
been released, although its sections are not working yet. However, you

The new Dragonball Z episodes will begin
on March 17, starting with Episode 262. These episodes will end the
DBZ series. Dragonball GT expected to debut a few months after (around
September).
According to Funimation, the first two
DBGT tapes will be released on April 15th 2003. DBZ Movie #8 will be
released on April, 29th 2003.
A Nintendo Gamecube version of DBZ Budokai
is scheduled to be released on August 26, 2003. No "changes"
to the game have been mentioned.
DragonballToys.com
reports that the popular DBZ japanese title for the PSX, Ultimate Battle
22, will be translated for a U.S. release in March 26, 2003. If you
never played the import, this will be your chance to enjoy this game!

DBZ: Legacy of Goku II - Future Shock
is scheduled to be released in June 25th 2003 for the Gameboy Advance
handheld console.
Two new projects have been announced
by FUNimation:
1) Dragon Ball Z Fruit Snacks, from Brach's. Each box with 1 of 4 FREE
collectible motion cards inside.
2) A new Fast Food Promotion. Restaurant to be announced soon. Check

Dragonball Z Budokai has been released for the
PS2 console with a $49.99 price. For full review, Click

Dragonball Z Budokai (formerly DBZ Legendary
Super Warriors) for PS2 is scheduled to be released on December 18,
2002 on the US with a $49.99 cost. European release date is November
30, 2002. Japan date is unconfirmed. For full details, Click

Season 6 has been split in two. The current DBZ
episodes airing will only make it to episode #260 (Deadly Vision). The
remaining 16 episodes will be aired somewhere around April 2003.
FUNimation has begun dubbing Dragonball GT and
DBZ Movie #7. DBGT is expected for late 2003, and Movie #7 has no date
yet.
Akira Toriyama is re-writing Dragonball Z on
manga. As stated by Byron Watson, he will do some editings to DBZ, but
nothing major.
On the upcoming Fruits Basket DVD: For $1.99,
you get 2 episodes of Fruits Basket plus a preview of DBGT.
FUNimation has acquired the license to dub the
first 53 episodes of DBZ, which were originally dubbed by Ocean Group.
FUNimation plans to re-script and re-dub these episodes for American
release on TV/VHS/DVD. The DVDs will also be sold with both Japanese
and English versions, totally uncut. There's still no date for the re-dubbing
process, but it should begin production on 2003. This re-dub will eventually
solve the 15-episode difference between U.S. and Japanese versions.
Possible number change of currently released episodes is in effect.
FUNimation has decided to change Bra's name to
"Bulla" on DBGT. The change will avoid sexual references on
the series.
New original DragonBall episodes are scheduled
to air on October 21st, 2002. The new episodes will begin with episode
54: "Escape From Pirate Cave."
New DragonBall Z episodes are now being aired
on the Toonami block at 6:30pm EST. A total of 39 new episodes will
be shown.
FUNimation is now holding a poll in the official
site for who will play the character of Vegeta in the upcoming Live
Action Movie. This time they allow users to sumbit their choice, instead
of forcing them to choose from a list.
The past poll (Gokou) resulted in Jet Li being
elected as favorite for that character. However, this does not mean
that he will be the one to play that character.
FUNimation has started dubbing DragonBall GT
as we speak. This was announced at this year's Anime Expo. DBGT is expected
to air in late 2003. DBZ will end this year.
A Dragonball Z live action movie is being produced
by 20th Century Fox. The story will not be related/based on the 13 previous
Dragonball Z movies released in Japan. Little details are still known
about this movie. It is scheduled to hit theaters in the mid-late 2004.
Due to the mass popularity of the Dragonball series, it is expected
to be the "next big thing" (some type of Spiderman...) Poster

The first Dragonball Z games licensed by Infogrames
have been released. The title of the games are: "DBZ: The Legacy
of Goku" and "DBZ: Collectible Card Game". Both games
are for the Gameboy Advance and are available in stores everywhere.
Infogrames is also working on a DBZ title for
the PS2 console. They're expected to be VS fighting games. Judging by
the images, the characters are being made in a cartoonish type of format
(like Zelda GameCube) instead of focusing in graphics. Click

Currently, no title from the 13 original DBZ
movies is scheduled to hit theaters. Only the Live Action movie is expected
to go to the big screen.
